The "A-Frame" base has a heel pad to absorb shock and an adjustable toe ramp with inserts included which fill in the space in between the toe ramp and the binding when you extend the toe ramp forward. The 11-34 high back is well padded and has tool-less adjustable lean. Do you have a larger boot size? Allthough this is not an "XL" binding .... because it has an adjustable alloy heel cup and the adjustable toe ramp .... you can adjust the 11-34 to comfortably fit most size 13 or larger boots. To complete the package the Eleven-34 has EZ slide toe and ankle strap adjustment along with the aluminum ratchets and comfortable strap padding.
